Poke Survivor Held Items

All 11 held items in PokéSurvivor: their effects with the numbers from the game code, where they drop (chests, all 5 bosses and rift legendaries) and which one to keep.

How held items work

You hold one item at a time, and it lasts until the run ends. When you find another one, you choose which to keep. Each drop is any of the 11 items at random, so you can find one you already hold.

Where items drop

  • Bosses: every boss drops an item, and a run has 5 boss fights.
  • Rifts: the legendary in a rift also drops an item when you beat it.
  • Locked chests (stand next to one for a few seconds to open it): 50% chance.
  • Regular chests: 8% chance.
  • The legendaries in Arceus's Judgment give experience only, never items.

Which item to keep

Opinion These are the wiki's suggestions, not game data.
  • Choice Band gives the biggest damage bonus but locks your move; Life Orb is the flexible damage pick if you can afford the HP.
  • If bosses keep knocking you out, Focus Sash, Assault Vest or Leftovers buy you time.
  • Amulet Coin and Lucky Egg do nothing in a fight. Keep them on comfortable runs to farm coins and levels.
  • Drops are random, so judge each one by what this run needs rather than holding out for a favorite.

Numbers on this page come from data release 2026-10-13-a9b21f0 (game commit a9b21f0).
