What is PokéSurvivor?
PokéSurvivor is a free, fan-made survivor-like game that runs in the browser, with 966 Pokémon to collect across 9 regional gacha banners. You play as one Pokémon: it attacks on its own with its active move, and your job is to move, collect experience and stay alive as long as you can. Play it on the official site, pokesurvivor.com. This wiki does not host the game.
Controls
- Move: W A S D or the arrow keys.
- Choose the active move: 1 to 4, or cycle with Q and E.
- Pause: Esc or P.
- Touch screens: put a finger anywhere on the game screen and drag. A joystick appears where you touch. Tap a move button to switch moves.
Your first run
Defeated wild Pokémon drop experience. Every level-up offers three cards, and you pick one:
- New move: learn a move from your Pokémon's move pool while you still have a free slot. You can hold up to four moves.
- Move upgrade: level up a move you already have, up to Lv 5.
- Stat card: a boost that lasts for the rest of the run, such as Power (more damage), Vigor (more max HP) or Reflexes (shorter cooldowns).
Only one move slot is active at a time, and it fires automatically, so switch to the move that suits the moment. Buff moves deal no damage; once you hold two of them, the game stops offering more.
Move pools
Every Pokémon can learn the moves open to all Pokémon plus the moves of its own types, and it starts each run with one starting move. The moves list shows which types learn each move.
Move evolution
When a move reaches Lv 5 and you have taken its required stat card at least once in that run, a golden evolution card is always among your next level-up choices. 59 of the 64 moves can evolve; buff moves cannot. The move evolution table lists every evolution and the card it needs.
Bosses and rifts
Wild Pokémon get tougher in stages as the run goes on, and boss fights come at minutes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15. Sometimes a rift opens near you: step in to fight a legendary Pokémon in a separate arena. Winning gives a few tickets (half the time also a ×10 ticket) and a bond, which lets you fuse moves so they fire together from a single slot.
The bosses page lists every boss slot with the Pokémon that can fill it, how rifts open, and Arceus's Judgment, which ends the regular run. Every boss drops one of the held items, and coins buy permanent upgrades between runs.
Tickets and the gacha
New Pokémon come from the gacha, and each generation has its own banner. Pulls cost tickets that you collect during runs: wild Pokémon occasionally drop one, bosses sometimes drop a ×10 ticket, and a rift legendary does half the time. A 5★ has a 1.5% chance per pull, every banner guarantees a 5★ by pull 70, and a ×10 pull always includes at least one 4★ or better. Duplicates turn into coins, but shinies never repeat. The gacha page has the full rates and every banner's pool.
Shiny Pokémon
Every wild Pokémon has a 1 in 4,096 chance to be shiny, and defeating a shiny wild Pokémon adds it to your collection. In the gacha, 1 in 100 pulls comes out shiny.
