Who we are
PokeSurvivor Wiki (pokesurvivor.wiki) is an unofficial, fan-made guide to the browser game PokéSurvivor. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, who collects it and how you can control it. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@pokesurvivor.wiki.
The site has no user accounts, comments or sign-up forms. We do not ask you for your name, email address or any other personal details to read the wiki.
Information collected when you visit
- Server and security logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request in order to deliver the page and protect the site against abuse.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and referring site. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the wiki. You can learn how Google handles this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Preferences stored on your device. If you choose a language, the site stores your choice in a cookie (
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE). Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage. These are used only to show the site the way you chose. - Search. The wiki search runs in your browser using a downloaded index; what you type is not sent to our server.
Advertising
We use, or may use, Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Ads help cover the cost of running the wiki.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to measure ads and to limit how often you see the same ad.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in the EU/UK, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google does not show you personalized ads on this site unless consent has been obtained. You may see non-personalized or limited ads, which use cookies or identifiers only for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
For more detail, see Google's advertising policies on cookies.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass personal information to Google or other advertisers. Information is collected directly by the service providers listed above (Cloudflare and Google) under their own privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Analytics property (14 months at most). Hosting and security logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention rules. Preference cookies and local storage stay on your device until you clear them.
Your choices and rights
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The wiki still works without cookies, although your language choice will not be remembered.
- You can opt out of personalized ads and analytics using the links above.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because we do not hold account data, most such data is held by Google or Cloudflare; contact us and we will help you with any request we can act on.
Children
The wiki is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other sites
The wiki links to other sites, such as the official PokéSurvivor site and the game's source repository. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, for example when ads go live or a new service provider is added, and change the date at the top.
